Subject and script-writer: Mauro Boselli
Artwork: Guglielmo Letteri
Cover illustration: Claudio Villa
The pards and the group of volunteers from Silver Bell kill the monstrous Papagos who had attacked a stagecoach on the Saguaro Mountains and save the only survivor, young Janet. The next day, while the rangers discover that only bloodless corpses populate the Indian village, Link Johnson and the stagecoach postilion, also infected, arrive in town and the disease begins to spread! After a night of shootouts and fires, all of the monsters are eliminated and a small meteorite is fished out of the Masons’ well, origin of the disease.
