Her friends

ic and Paula are
Gea's schoolfriends.
They share her passion for rock music and they play together in seedy group in the basement
a of Gea's house. They often organize out-and-out rave parties, taking advantage of the fact that her parents are never around. They don't know anything about their friend's double life.

Luciana is the social worker in Gea's school. Dedicated to her job, she takes her role of counselling the youngsters very seriously. She persistently gets all het up about wanting to meet Gea's parents whom no-one has ever seen, let alone at school, and there's no way Gea can satisfy her.

Tara is an intruder who has been settled in our plane of existence for a long time and has adapted well. She's the matriarch of a vast Indian community that worships her like a demi-god, protecting her and waiting on her. She shares their physical characteristics and under her loose clothing she conceals an extra pair of arms. She's called Tara, which is one of the ten forms of the goddess mahavidya or "great thinkers" in tantrism. Tara is the savior aspect of the goddess, she
carries the worshiper across the ocean of conditioned existence to "the other shore". And yet, like Kali, she's often depicted as a terrifying character, dancing on a corpse, carrying a head in one of her four hands. This is to remind her followers that the needs of divine grace must be met and that spiritual maturity is reached by going beyond the ego, a difficult and painful process. She's Gea's "pusher", the person Gea turns to in order to ask for the ingredients she needs for her hallucinogenic potions such as fresh ayahuasca leaves or dried amanita mushrooms, so she can go on her trips.

Leonardo is older than Gea and became paraplegic after a car accident. Independent and determined, he confronts his disability courageously, tackling every obstacle that the "able-bodied" world puts in his way. He plays the drums very well (with the necessary adaptations), a musical instrument which "rationally"
thinking should be beyond his capabilities. In the second episode he successfully joins Gea's rock band. A lucky incident enables him to find out about Gea's "special" nature and with this knowledge he becomes involved in his friend's occult activities.

Sigfrido (Sig to his friends) is a tall, well-built medical student, an overpowering ice-hockey player in the University Championship nicknamed "Killer Whale". He's a self-declared gay. He does voluntary work driving the local minibus for the disabled.
