DESTINATION: SOMEWHERE ELSE! Inexplicable suicides
and horrifying apparitions seem to announce the arrival of a violent cataclysm,
destined to plunge the Earth into havoc and change it forever. What horrible
secret has been hidden for over a century amid the ruins of the base of
Elsewhere? And why does Nathan Never's geography of the world seem totally
impossible and inexplicable in the eyes of a scientist like Martin Mystère?
Nathan and Martin (but perhaps it would be better to say the automaton which,
in the future, houses the biological memory of BVZM for safe keeping) meet for
the third time in this super-album
that is coming out at a distance of no less
than five years after its predecessor, an album that has them engaged in a race
against time to solve a riddle on which the future of the whole of mankind
depends. They will be assisted by three fascinating and courageous girls who
will be working alongside them: Vivian, Nicole and Michelle. Don't underestimate
them!
Just as you also shouldn't underestimate Nathan and Hadija when - as happens in the
March issue, with a script
by Vietti and artwork by Bertolini - they decide to go on holiday in a
tourist village where they meet Lena, a sans-papier who has managed to dodge a police
round-up within the zone of the Territory. The young woman claims that the police eliminated
all her companions by brutally slaughtering them… Nathan tries to shed light on this case
and discovers that some of the immigrants have been reduced to slavery and utilized as slave
labor inside villainous Raoul Corben's construction yard... In the following album,
"L'infiltrato" (script by Ostini and artwork by Di Clemente), the Agenzia Alfa has to ensure
surveillance over the security systems of a company that has been contracted to dismantle
the City's nuclear warheads, depriving them of their explosive core. These precious, and
extremely dangerous, weapons are coveted by Samuel Walken's gang, which intends to sell them
on to an envoy of the Orbiting Colonies who are planning to get their hands on them in order
to launch once and for all their independence offensive. But the ranks of Walken's men have
long been infiltrated by Jonathan Kegan, an agent who has a matter to settle with the
treacherous criminal…
