Barbed wire around the meadows and guns ready to fire… The showdown between Tex and Tessy Malone continues!

A DEVIL CALLED TESSY! "That woman is as hard as a diamond and as deceitful as the devil!" Said by Tex (who in over half a century of adventures up and down the Wild West has had had to contend with plenty of highly dangerous adversaries and veritable hellhounds, hundreds of them, and has given all of them what they deserve!), this phrase is indeed, in its own way, a fine compliment! In any case, few other comparisons could so effectively condense the (awful) character of the woman they refer to: Tessy Malone, the fascinating, unscrupulous landowner who intends to become the uncontested mistress of all the grazing lands of Muddy Creek, even at the cost of having to shed innocent blood. Faced with such a ruthless ploy, the Ranger certainly cannot just sit back and impassively… but putting a spoke in the wheels of such a diabolical "war machine" as Miss Malone will turn out to be more difficult than foreseen, as we will discover thanks to the exciting script by Claudio Nizzi and the dynamic artwork by Fernando Fusco, in this three-part story, published in the March, April and May issues. But those who would prefer not to follow the trials and tribulations of our Aquila della Notte amid the lush green meadows of Wyoming but instead would rather go on the trail with him to a remote and sun-baked village on the Mexican border will still get a chance to buy the Almanacco del West 2001 (it will remain on your news-stand until March 23). In its 176 pages not only offer reviews, articles and dossiers devoted to the world of the American frontier, but also tells the story of Tex's difficult mission, on the tracks of a serial killer concealed behind an unsuspectable identity, in a new adventure written by the indefatigable Claudio Nizzi, excellently assisted by the artwork of Andrea Venturi.
